Making a Difference
The donation that we received from the Ninevah Charitable Trust enabled us to construct 3 separate hut-based composting loos to use in Fairyland. Continuing our Outdoor Family Camping program during the pandemic was a challenge but we were determined to get families outddors and active when we could

One of the challenges was the requirement, between lock-downs, to implement social distancing which we did through "bubbles", each of two or three families. Every bubble needed its own tent area, its own cooking facilities and, importantly, its own loo

We built these in October 2020. They have proper "separet" loos inside that separate the liquid from the solids, making them hygienic and sustainable. They have made a real difference for the families, many of whom found the previous "long-drop" rather disconcerting!
How to Get Involved
There are many ways that you might like to get involved with our work at the Pearce Coggan Foundation. The simplest way to support us is to turn up at our pop-up coffes stall every Thursday morning and enjoy coffee, cake and good chat! You can even go away with some fresh veg or eggs and meat from Green Farm

The Wildlife Community Garden can always use more volunteers. A few hours each week can make a big difference to your wellbeing as well as to the garden. From simple watering and weeding to sowing, potting-on and harvesting, there is always work to do and our two expert gardeners will improve your knowledge and skills around chemical-free, no-dig, wildlife gardening

Although the commercial activities at Green Farm fund the day-to-day operational costs of the charity, we always have projects on the go that can reach fruition much faster with the help of external funding. While large donations towards a specific project (see below) are always welcome, we are always happy and grateful to receive small donations through our "Donate Now" button or by buying lottery tickets in the Ashford Borough Community Lottery

The lovely Vickylee Cain and her pony Thistle (seen here relaxing in Fairyland) donated half the money she raised driving her trap from Dover to Lands End. This has given us a great start towards the new greenhouse for the Community Garden
